Located in the historic market town of Totnes, Devon, Wellstone Therapy offers a calm and confidential space for counselling and psychotherapy.

Totnes is known for its character, independent community, and beautiful historic surroundings, providing a welcoming setting for therapeutic work.

From the therapy room, looking to the left, there is a view towards historic Totnes Castle — a small reminder of the unique surroundings in which therapy takes place.

Where is the entrance?

The Library Rooms address is 59 High Street. The entrance door is located on Castle Street, close to where Castle Street meets the High Street,.

Is there parking nearby?

There are three conveniently located car parks, all within approximately a 2–5 minute walk of my therapy room.

The Nursery Car Park

A long-stay car park located a short walk uphill from the practice.

Civic Hall Car Park

Market Square, TQ9 5SF

A nearby short-stay car park.

Please note: this car park is closed from Thursday evenings until Saturday afternoons due to the Totnes Market.

North Street Car Park

TQ9 5NZ

A smaller long-stay car park approximately a 4-minute walk away.

Is there public transport nearby?

Wellstone Therapy is conveniently located within walking distance of several bus stops in central Totnes.

Local bus services, including Bob the Bus, serve nearby stops such as Market Square, Fore Street, The Narrows, and Leechwell Lane, all within a short walk of the practice.

Totnes also has regular bus links from surrounding areas, with the main bus station and train station providing further transport connections.

Accessibility Information

The therapy room is located on the first floor and is accessed via stairs. Unfortunately, there is currently no lift access available.

If you have any concerns about accessibility or whether the room is suitable for your needs, please get in touch before booking. I will be happy to discuss your options and explore whether an alternative arrangement, such as online counselling, may be suitable.

What happens when I arrive?

On arrival, please press 3, followed by the bell on the intercom to the right-hand side of the entrance door.

For your first appointment, I will come down to meet you and show you through to the therapy room.

For future appointments, I will buzz you in when you arrive. If you arrive a few minutes early, you are welcome to take a seat in the waiting area until your appointment time.
